I am trying to remember last week and it is not easy either.
Every day brings something new and exciting.
In terms of lifestyle, day to day activities and problems, what is available for regular salary, cars on the street, how the people driving, and much more, Brazil reminds me of Poland from 25 years ago.
With one exception – live is much more relaxed.
Well it maybe because I am leaving with my good friend who does not need to worry about much, maybe it is because Guarapari is a resort where people are spending vacations, or maybe because I am relaxed.
I do not have much, all my belongings fit in two duffle bags and one cartoon box. I am sleeping in little bedroom that is 1/3 size of what I have been renting in Sunnyvale.

I made some friends – Andy owns restaurant and paints pictures. Whenever I come to his place I greet him with one of my favorite phases: “Feed me Seymour, feed me”.
He then proceeds with asking what I would like to eat – yet he knows that I will have chicken on rise.

Finally there is Marcela.
It’s been four years since we knew about each others.
I never had idea who she really is until I met her.
Honestly – Marcela is the most down-to-Earth person I ever met in my live.
Honest, happy, no drama, independent and typical Virgo.
Looking at horoscopes Virgo/Virgo couples either fight ferociously or their relationship works like well lubricated German watch.
We are so similar in many respects that it is scary.
Should we have the same goal in live, we could be very happy couple.
She seems to be very mature for her age which I am not going to mention because I am gentleman and because I do not want everyone to know the age difference.
One thing is certain – I am younger than ever (at least in my soul) – LOL.

I’ve been busy as Hell.
Packing, working, dealing with drama, working again.
Finally there were only three days left to my departure.
On Friday I still worked most of the day. Didn’t have time to do much about packing.
Saturday I was packing and didn’t get far. Just one duffle bag with closes – that is all I could do.
I got another duffle bag at Costco and very sturdy box from UPS for my AMP and mirror.
Sunday John came over and got me going. I finally started seeing progress.
The AMP and mirror are packed, second Thanks God he had some room left for my stuff.
I didn’t slept at all that night.
On Monday 7am sharp the shuttle arrived and took me to the airport.
I checked my luggage… One bag 59lbs, box with AMP 62lbs, second duffel bag 86lbs…
That would mean I would have to pay $125 for extra package and $125 for overweight.
Thanks to the fact that lady at the check-in was busy printing the luggage receipt and so I pushed the heavy duffel bag little of the scale – it came as 69.5lbs – just 0.5lbs below allowed weight.
Well I saved little money – I will need every dime – because I do not really know how long I’ll be able to work.

Here goes my trip.
I forgot to give John the documents to be legalized.
In the last moment I called him and sent them from airport. Good I had an extra envelope.
The flight from San Francisco to Washington DC was delayed.
Pilot was late and they had to exchange the tire.
Finally after 1hr on the plane they let us out for 30min.
Quick run to the bar and two shots of Heresy, helped me to release stress and get back to normal.
Finally we have took off.
In Washington Richard and Joana boarded on the same plane – it was half empty.
I did slept most of the flight. Finally landed in Rio.
I got visa with no problems. Customs – all they wanted to know is: “What is in the big white box”?
I told them: “AMP, mirror for my telescope and shoes” LOL.
I had about four hours layover. Joana, Richard and me went to the bar – I tried my first Brazilian drink.
‘Kashatsa’ (I am not sure about spelling) – it was good.
Joana helped me to check in my luggage on the small plain to Vitoria.
In less than an hour I landed in Vitoria – tiny airport.

Richard already waited for me. Final destination – Guarapari - was just an hour drive away.
Taxi and Richards car were enough to get us there.
On the way we stopped to get flowers for Marcela. Beautiful bucket of roses.
What came next – next time.

I stayed at the office until everyone left, than I rushed to Guitar Center to buy myself cables.
On my way back I got something to munch on and while eating - I did some work.
Than I played for about an hour – I have a lot of work to do.
I am rusty as I can possibly be, but the AMP is absolutely awesome.

Yesterday – Sunday, Oct. 19, I have spent some time with Tamika.
I did set for her Wi-Fi connection that stopped to work.
I am laughing at myself because I wrote little step-by-step for her, just in case she needs to set it again. I also did set for her her iPhone so she could connect and again I wrote little document on, how to do it
I really hope she will remember and be able to do it by herself.
It was nice (late) evening – we did not argue.

That is it – I have to get back to my work.

There is only 3.5 weeks left.

But my airfare is paid for

My Daughter Basia is my concern – I have to do more for her before I leave.
Is there anybody else I have to take care off – no. But I have to see for the last time my friends.
I have to have with them last drink, last BBQ, last talk.
Believe me – when I am writing this I have tears in my eyes.

Finally there is one person that I love to death, that I wish I could keep in my live but I am not certain how I can do it. We have way too much to forgive and forget. For now I say: “Time heals wounds, especially the wounds left in our minds”.

Honestly – I am not sure if I have enough energy to start again from scratch.
Emmigration is difficult, especially if you almost do not know language and country is different than anything you have ever experienced.

God – help me.

Actually I started on Saturday, Aug. 23…
By noon I got hungry, defrosted one of delicious steaks and BBQ’ed it.
Had little ‘rum and coke’ with it.
By early afternoon I had good buzz and full stomach.

John – my best friend called and we made plans for the evening.
I had to sober-up because we were going to Sushi place and I love Sake.

We started late, around 9:30pm we got finally to Sushi place and started to drink Sake.
I am not sure how much but I am pretty sure we had a lot.
Owner – nice Korean Lady – kept place open for us until 11pm.
Finally she came and asked if we could move to the bar next door – LOL.

We went there and had few drinks – they had karaoke night.

Than we went to JJ’s – my favorite 7 days per week live bluse music.
That night was kind of slow, but band was great.
We drinked some more – huh.

Finally got home by 2:30am, hat little tea and John left home.

I walked up before 9am – I still had buzz going on – LOL.
I wanted to get better because I was not sure what the day (my real B-Day) will be.
Basia called around noon – I still had buzz going on, but I picked up as quickly as I could.

My Daughter – she would not forget my b-Day – when I think of it I have tears in my eyes.
I dearly love her – she has changed so much.
From ‘rotten-spoiled’ princess she grew into beautiful person.
She is so mature and so resourceful. I have no doubts that she will do well in her live.
We spend very nice afternoon, talking, eating and shoping for few things she needed.

Evening came and I still didn’t heard from ‘my Woman’
It kinda hurt because I remember all dates and I really love her although we are no living together anymore. I texted her in afternoon, she would not respond. Finally around 8pm I asked if she ‘is alive’. She said that she is very busy with her work.
I get it – I didn’t want to make her feel bad becasue she forgot about me.
I understand that she is busy taking care for herself – and so I holded myself and didn’t let her know how much realy I wanted to be with her that night.

I was hurting but it is OK.

I called my old friend and asked if she wanted to hung out on my B-Day, but she was in Sacramento and called me back around midnight. We are going out tonight.
I know I’ll have blast with her, she is young, energetic, can drink ‘like fish’ and dance pretty well. All African-American Woman can dance

Bought “Brothers In Arms” (Dire Straits) - listening “Money for Nothing”.
Good music and it puts me in right mood. Do not think much, just do the things and push forward.

This coming Sunday is my 52nd B-Day.
I am still young – body and soul –
I run tests from time to time and everything seems to work.
My feet do hurt, especially in the morning and after driving car for some time.
Besides I am fine.
Hopefully I’ll still be making babys at the age of 95 – LOL.
Long ways to go – over 40 years of enjoyment, fun, experiences, tears and loughter.
Live is beautiful and we are blessed because we are able to enjoy most of the thinks we can feel (emotionally), see, touch, taste and smell.

On that thought I have to elaborate on the impact on our future, caused by emotional experiances. We heal very quick physical injuries however, the emotional wounds heal for long time – if ever.
Is there relationship between complexity of system and how fast it can heal itself.

Here comes another thought. Maybe we heal physical injuries quick because we understand what is going on, we feel pain, out body reacts to it.
Psychological injuries would require us to understand them – but this may be very difficult especially if ‘hidden agendas’ come into play.
I have to read on it

I truly believe that one day I will leave peaceful life.
I will be surrounded by love, by people with good energy and free of drama.
I believe I will be able to play music again, I believe I will be able to put my head on the pillows next to the one that loves me.

I want to have big family, family that loughs, jokes, family that is free of drama.
This is my goal.

I can say that after being over 15 years in SV I achieved my goal – my Resume is filled in with big and good names, I have learned a lot and my name is known in Hi-Tech World. I have learned how to do business, how to build the team and how to be a part of team.

I often say to myself: “You could drop me in the North Pole and I will survive”.
